Reflection About Lecture Maker

First of all I would like thanks Dr. Saadiah   for this program introduction. I’m truly happy because this authoring tool is helpful   and is important for teacher. Most schools and teachers have been introduced to this program before. It can be use to present many important things to students in teaching and learning process  and it is very interactive.

I find that Lecture Maker (L.M) is quite an interesting authoring tool because it  works hand in hand with PowerPoint and also with other program. I am very familiar with power point because I have been using it for many years in classroom or for classroom presentation.  I found that it is relatively easy to learn to use the Lecture Maker as well. It took about one week to be competent with this program.

I have discovered one thing that Power point cannot do, it is about developing an interactive questions like objective and quizzes for students use. This is very important as it can be use as part of an evaluating process at the end of the class. However, there techniques that a teacher should be aware so that the questions produced are not rigid. I need to spend about 1 or 2 days to learn the tool and become proficient within a week. More importantly that Lecture Maker program enable to produce a piece of reasonable e-learning content in a short time frame.

I found that lecture maker contain picture editing tool, but its just a simple one. It is better to edit picture using paint or Photoshop because it contains lots of picture editing tool. Once the picture is properly enhanced it can be copied and paste into L.M. I also discovered the image that has been copied and pasted can also be crop and  reedit within L.M.
One thing that impressed me is, it can be save in execute mode. Once it is saved in that mode, the students use the learning set up right away without having the trouble to open L.M. This type saving tool is not in the power point.

Thank you for reading
